Eduardo moved to Bend, Oregon, in 2011 to direct organizational development and education for 2500 employees at St. Charles Health System. While there, the company underwent a system-wide implementation of McKesson’s Paragon EMR – a massive endeavor that required him to design a blended learning strategy with a train-the-trainer program, a localized champions program, eLearning activities, classroom events, and an online performance support system.
Also during his tenure, Eduardo restructured the organization’s onboarding program to increase content retention and implemented a customized leadership development program that taught effective communication, emotional intelligence, and accountability. The success of these programs led him to become an executive coach to senior leadership, providing constructive input on issues such as change management, employee engagement, and culture.
In 2017, Eduardo joined the International Society of Arboriculture to direct the development of learning solutions. Using competitive intelligence data, he developed a five-year roadmap for the Educational Products department, implemented agile methodologies to accelerate deliverables, and managed the digital conversion of legacy classroom courses to eLearning. As part of a larger digital transformation initiative, Eduardo created a user adoption strategy for the company’s transition to Microsoft 365 and Teams, designing an informal learning program led by technology champions through regular Webinars, Microsoft Help, and video tutorials.
