After earning her bachelor’s degree in business administration, Allison worked for several Fortune 500 companies including Hershey Chocolate, Waste Management, Lowes, and Hershey Pasta / New World Pasta. Allison settled into working for Alcoa, where she managed the first-tier desktop support team, network infrastructure, and global vendor management.
Allison moved on to lead Alcoa’s collaboration solutions team, where she directed the change management program for an Office 365 proof of concept, data migration, and Microsoft Teams deployment for 15,000 employees. This gargantuan effort united global business units and resource unit leaders to develop, implement, and support robust solutions in the Modern Workplace that led to richer communication, mobile connectedness, and community – outcomes that were featured in Satya Nadella’s keynote address at Inspire 2019 and a fireside chat at the Ignite 2019 conference.
On the heels of that success, Allison was recruited by Microsoft to support the manufacturing vertical as a customer success manager. Building on her experience, she helped Microsoft customers roll out the Microsoft 365 experience. The following year, she moved to the Microsoft Teams Engineering organization as a customer experience program manager, where she helped translate customer needs into technical requirements for the engineers to enhance and improve Microsoft Teams features.
Allison earned her MBA in technology management from the University of Phoenix and her Change Practitioner title from Prosci. Her list of Microsoft certifications includes Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Teams Administration, Azure Fundamentals, Power Platform Fundamentals, Dynamics 365 CRM and ERP (in progress), and Azure AI Fundamentals (in progress). She excels acting as an interpreter between “tech” speak and customer needs.
Allison lives in Pittsburgh with her dog Sheldon and partner Steve. She is passionate about live music (especially her favorites U2, Jeff Campbell, Megan Slankard, and Vintage Trouble) and scuba diving.
